1. If v is viable fertility, then

   v = pt - h + i

   • t = timing
     
   • h = hindrance (i.e. contraception)
     
   • i = interventions (adoption, surrogacy, artificial insemination, etc.)
     
   
   
2. If r₁, r₂ are human resources, and r₁ = {m, f}, where
   
   
   • m = male
     
   • f = female
     
     then

     r₂ = -a(r₁)

     where
     
     
     • a = sexual attraction
       • -1 = homosexual
         
       • +1 = heterosexual
         
     
     
     and only if
     
     
     • m = -f
